In 2006 I was introduced to HMR and was able to take Levels I, II, III
training. I completed certification in October 2007.
HMR is a body centered and client centered technique developed by Brent
Baum for the resolution of memories and the painful emotions associated with
those events. HMR is a creative visualization and energy technique that utilizes
a "reframing" of the memory that addresses the nervous system's emotional
charge of the encoded scene.
HMR can be very effective in resolving trauma, painful memories, and lends
itself to releasing chronic pain such as headaches and back pain.
