Welcome!

My goal is to respect the uniqueness and dignity of each person as they journey toward wholeness and joy in living.   I will work with you to match my skills and experience to your personal growth goals. My primary modality is Brain Integration Technique (BIT) and energy healing based on BIT and other modalities I have studied. In the last year I have been incorporating more Spring Forest Qigong into my practice.  This modality lends itself more to physical problems while the BIT works on processing issues. Check out the page I have added for Qigong.

Brain Integration Technique as developed by Susan McCrossin enhances learning  and problem solving. BIT is a non-invasive, gentle process that permanently corrects ADD, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning difficulties. Physical coordination and visual processing also improve. I am skilled in helping my clients resolve issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma.

See "comments" below for more testimonials as well as the testimonial page.

I look forward to hearing from you.   Carolyn Law OSF, MA

I received this testimonial this month. Thank you Julie!

Julie H. said...

I was introduced to Sister Carolyn through a co-worker, and was encouraged to experience her therapy. I have really struggled with depression and anxiety for nearly 25 years, and was very interested to try a session. I went into the therapy with an open mind, but also with some skepticism and wariness about the power of suggestion. During my sessions with Sister Carolyn, I experienced profound changes in myself. I was taking anti-anxiety medication several times a day before treatment, and have not needed the medication since - even though my stressors have stayed the same. That amazed and impressed me so much, I decided to bring my son to her.

He is 13 years old and has been enrolled in Special Ed in school for reading problems and slow processing issues. After his first session, I noticed improvement in his reading and spelling. But his last session was amazing - my jaw literally dropped when Sister Carolyn had him read out loud and he read with such speed and accuracy. Since then, I have noticed that his spelling has also improved dramatically. At home, he even will remember multi-step instructions which would frustrate him so much in the past. He would want me to only tell him one thing to do at a time, otherwise he would get overwhelmed. Now, I can verbally give him a list of things to do and he will remember them and do them - he even takes the initiative to do things that need to be done, without being told! That, too, makes my jaw drop!

I whole-heartedly endorse Sister Carolyn. Both my son and myself felt very comfortable with her, and she explained everything she was going to do and answered any questions we had. Not only is she a wonderful therapist, she is a wonderful person!
